My
Story
I've been a PGA Member since 2009, but my journey in golf started much earlier. Growing up in Montana, wide-open spaces were everywhere, but access to high-quality instruction was limited. I played local courses whenever I could, but when I couldn't get to a golf course, I practiced in open fields, using hay bales as targets and letting my imagination shape my shots. That experience taught me creativity, perseverance, and a deep love for the game. It also inspired my mission: to bring high-level golf instruction to under-served and rural communities.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to coach players of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to elite college athletes. I've served as Director of Instruction at Continental Country Club in Flagstaff, Arizona, and at Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Arizona. I've also coached at the high school and collegiate levels, including the Flagstaff High School golf team and the Northern Arizona University (NAU) Women's Golf Team.
As a player, I've been fortunate to compete in some of the game's most prestigious events, including the 2012 PGA Championship, the 2012 and 2013 PGA Professional National Championships, and the 2014 National Assistant Championship. These experiences have given me valuable insight into what it takes to perform at a high level, and how to coach others toward their own version of success.
I'm now based in southwest Wyoming, offering online coaching to help students wherever they are. In addition to virtual lessons, I travel to rural communities to provide in-person instruction at courses that don't have a golf professional on staff. Whether you're picking up a club for the first time or refining your game for college competition, my goal is to meet you where you're at and provide the guidance you need to grow.
When I'm not coaching, you can usually find me exploring the outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, or out on an adventure with my camera. I also love spending time with my wife, our cats, and our dog.
Golf has taken me on an incredible journey, and now I'm here to help guide you on yours.
